George was married to my High School friend Grace. While we were in college she met George and then I had the privilege of meeting and being around George for many years. He was so much fun. Always so sweet! I have many great memories of working in the tobacco on George's farm and hanging out there having fun. I am so sad to learn of his death. Prayers to all of his family.

George was our gentle giant, a man with no pretenses and a man of his word. He loved telling stories and always had a captive audience.
