Obituary of David Taylor McCann
David Taylor “Big Dave” McCann, 40, passed away at UK Hospital in Lexington Ky, on Monday July 30, 2018. Born in Frankfort, Ky on February 9, 1978, he was the son of Larry Alan McCann and the late Mary Susan Hall McCann.
A graduate of Garrard County High School, David then returned to spend the rest of his life in Frankfort. Mr. McCann spent his life welding, where he worked at Meritor as a supervisor. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars; his family said he was truly country. David was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church where he was also baptized.
Mr. McCann is survived by his father, Larry Alan McCann; his sons, Gregory Lucas McCann and Kron Johnson; his sisters, Jessica Lee McCann, Tracey Lynn McCann and Marissa Sharp.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Susan Hall McCann.
Arrangements are pending at this time.
