Obituary of Barbara Kaye Litton

Barbara Kaye Litton, 76 of Lawrenceburg Ky, passed from this life at Baptist Health hospital on November 1, 2017. She was the wife of Bob Litton for 58 years. Born in Eddyville, Ky, and was the daughter of the late Barnett Eugene and Hattie Mathis Stovall. She was a graduate of Lyon Co. High School.

Barbara had two children Jeff [Jana] Litton of Somerset, Ky, and Sheri [Steven] Smith of Lawrenceburg, Ky. She is also survived by 8 grand children, Grant [Jane] Litton, Tyler [Ruth] Smith, Darryn [Alena] Litton, Logan [Kayla] Smith, Jeremy [Stephanie] Litton, Kaylin Litton, Makailyn Hines, and Micheal Hines; seven great grand children; a brother, Billy Gene [Beverly] Stovall of Mt. Pleasant S.C.

 She was predeceased by her brother Tommy Stovall.

Barbara taught piano for twenty five years and played at a number of churches that Bob, her husband, pastored; including locations at, Kauttawa Ky, Marion, Ky, Cadiz, Ky, Owensboro, Ky, Eddyville, Ky, Chaplin, Ky, Utica, Ky, Frankfort, Ky, and Lawrenceburg, Ky. She was involved in the church mission organization. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, collecting angels, and had an infectious smile.  She was always active in church work and a member of Highlands Baptist Church while also attending Union Baptist Church. 

Services will be Monday, November 6, 2017 at Saffell House Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Sunday, November 5 from 3:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 9-11 A.M.. Burial will be at Chaplin Highview Cemetery in Chaplin, Ky, immediately following the service. 

Grandsons will be the pallbearers and the Granddaughters and Great-Grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.
