Obituary of Arthur Lynne Graburn II
A. Lynne Graburn II, 89, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024. He was born on January 21, 1935 in Masontown, PA to his late parents, Archer Lynne Graburn and Estelle Graham Graburn.
Lynne left behind a legacy of leadership and dedication. He attended Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, Ursinus College, and Yale, shaping a life committed to learning and service. Born and raised in Masontown, PA, Lynne and his late beloved wife F. Dreer Havens Graburn, lived most of his life in Albany, NY and recently settling in Kentucky. He was an active community member, serving as commissioner of Pop Warner Football, a track coach, and a proud member of the Rotary Club, Saint Andrews Society, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, and the Masons. Lynne’s passion for travel took him around the globe, leaving behind cherished memories of his worldwide adventures. His kindness, enthusiasm, and love for life will be remembered by all who knew him.
Lynne is survived by his son, Sterling Graburn; sister, Ann Jones; and a brother, William Graburn.
In keeping with his final wish, his son will take him back to his beloved Albany, NY, the place he called home.
