Obituary of Maxine Jenkins
Maxine Smith Jenkins, 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. She was born on April 14, 1945, in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, to her late parents, Eddie Unie Smith and Blondella Louise Brown Smith.
Maxine is a life long resident of Lawrenceburg. From a young age she was a member of the Glensboro Christian Church. Maxine loved to knit, sew, crotchet, and embroidery.
Maxine is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughter, Melissa Jenkins Gibson (Buchanan); grandchild, Gage Gibson; and siblings, Mary McNeill, Michelle Bast, Carolyn Webber, Jackie Smith, Alvin Smith, Tony Douglas Smith, and David Smith.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Ronnie Jenkins; siblings, Vickie Wise, Rebecca Smith, Eddie Burton Smith, Quinie Smith, James Smith, and Thomas Smith.
A private graveside will be held at a later date.
