Obituary of Nellie Ann Huff

Nellie Ann Huff, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, KY passed away on Sunday, June 25 2023. She was born in Lexington, KY on December 10, 1939 to Charles Edward Leonard and Ida Elizabeth Richardson Leonard. She was married to the late Harlan Ray Huff, Sr..

Nellie lived the majority of her life in Lawrenceburg, where she was a member of the Lawrenceburg Community Baptist Church. She loved to spend time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Nellie is survived by her children, Mary Lowery (Donald), Elizabeth Whitaker (Dennis) and Thomas Huff (Tammy); sisters, Eva Leonard, Sherry Bump (Mike) and Bonnie Estepp (Donald); brothers, Terry Leonard (Linda), James Leonard (Mary) and Danny Leonard (Bob); six grandchildren, Katherine (Katie) Yeast, Beverly Curtsinger (Bryon), Ryan Whitaker (Danielle), Ashley Huff, Joshua Huff and Taylor Bailey (Jeff); eight great-grandchildren, Layne Curtsinger, Max Curtsinger, Ella Kate Curtsinger, Addison Pauley, Lucas Whitaker, Dawson Jenkins, Khloe Bailey and Jayden Bailey.

Nellie is preceded in death by her husband and parents along with her son, Harlan Ray Huff, Jr. (Shirley Jean); sisters, Doris Taylor, Geneva Leonard and Janie Dominquez; and brother, Charles Leonard

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Saffell House Funeral Home from 11-1 p.m. with the Funeral Service immediately following at 1 p.m.. There will be a Graveside Service immediately following the funeral service at Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Brother Glenn Corn will be officiating the service.
