Obituary of Betty Jane Carroll

Betty Jane Carroll, 71, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at The Village Care Center in Erlanger, KY. Born in Salvisa, KY on October 24, 1951; she was the daughter of the late William Bill and Carolyn Michelle Rodgers.

Betty graduated from Mercer County High School. She lived in numerous places over the years including, Lawrenceburg, Somerset, Harrodsburg, Cincinnati, and Erlanger. Betty had been with her life partner, William Riley, since 1994. She worked in factories and restaurants during her life. Betty was a member of the Ballard Baptist Church. Betty loved rescuing animals, yard selling, going to flea markets, and watching sappy ,movies. She also loved to cook, fish and be outside in the summer. But most importantly she loved her family.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Michelle Rodgers; brother, William Carroll; sisters, Catherine Riley and Mary Cox; and two grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, William Bill and Lillie Mae Carroll; siblings, Marie Yancey, Gertrude Lesher, Hazel Lindsay, Emily Carroll, Henry Carroll, Robert Carroll, Norma Randalls, Millie Hensley, Delilah Malone, James Carroll, Lola Carroll, and Betty Carroll; and grandson, James Cody Rodgers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Saffell House Funeral Home. There is no service scheduled at this time.
