My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Find strength and comfort from God. At 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 it describes God as "the God of all comfort who comfort us in all our trials". This promise assures the family that by turning to God you can receive help during this difficult time. The bible also promises that soon death will be no more Revelation 21:3, 4 and the hope of a resurrection John 5:28, 29.

There are not many parents of my high school classmates that I remember but I do remember Mr Priddy. Jody was my classmate and Stacey and I played basketball together and I remember all of those practices and games as our Dads sat on the sidelines yelling. What a blessing to have a father that has left such a great legacy through these great kids and grandkids. My prayers are with your family !
Kudos for the great obituary....I am sure Mr Priddy got a chuckle from heaven!

STACY, he seemed like a wonderful person. You have been blessed to have him. It sounds like you were a lot like him. Great! Such wonderful memories he has given, many have not been able to say that. I too was blessed to have a wonderful father. God Bless you as you go through the grieving process. I won't lie to you its going to be very very hard. I'm here if or when you need me.

I am very sorry to hear the news of my brother (half brother). I haven't known anything about him for 13 years. Once we lost our dad, the communication ended for some reason. I have often thought about him and used social media to try and find out how he was doing. Unfortunately, I did not have any information on him, not even a phone number. I do believe that we will see each other again under much better circumstances when there will be no more sickness and we will have the chance to develop that brother/sister relationship that we somehow lost.
