Obituary of Louis Edward Simpson, Sr.
Louis Edward Simpson, Sr., age 80, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. He was born on October 17, 1942 to the late Paul Vaughn Simpson and Ruby Mae Catlett Simpson.
Louis worked for OHI America and retired from IBM where he worked in mechanical maintenance. He loved his best dog friends, Buttons, Chuck and Suzie.
Louis is survived by his children, Rita Mae Simpson Clem, Louis Edward Simpson, Jr., Russell Vaughn Simpson, Davin Lynn Morris Simpson, Kelly Wayne Simpson, and Michael Allen Simpson; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul Vaughn Simpson and Ruby Mae Catlett Simpson.
There are no services scheduled.
The family has asked for donations to be made to Anderson County Humane Society.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Saffell House Funeral Home.
