Obituary of Gerald C. Todd

Gerald C. Todd, 77, passed away at home on Saturday, March 5, 2022. He was born on October 2, 1944 in Pulaski County, KY to the late James Lee and Birdie Mae Reynolds Todd. Gerald was widowed by his wife, Elva W. Todd. Gerald worked for Edwards Sausage and continued to work there when the company became Weber’s. Gerald also worked for Rustin in Lexington, Custom Tool Manufacturing in Lawrenceburg and the car wash; he also mowed many yards all over Lawrenceburg. Gerald loved to fish, squirrel hunt, garden, watch old westerns, listen to old country music, and work on lawnmowers. Gerald was a member of the Clay Village Church of Christ in Shelbyville. Gerald is survived by his daughter, April Lynn Todd of Lawrenceburg; siblings, Harold Todd (Debbie) of Lawrenceburg, Wayne Todd (Linda) of Lawrenceburg, Wanda Cloran (Ricky) of Lawrenceburg, and Donnie Todd (Deborah) of Somerset. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Lee and Birdie Mae Reynolds Todd; wife, Elva W. Todd; and sister, Janice Todd. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Saffell House Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The Funeral Service will immediately follow on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 1 p.m., with the Graveside Service following at Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Todd, Jerry Turner, Chris Short, and Brian Proctor. Arrangements have been entrusted to Saffell House Funeral Home.
